Early in her career, Caitlin learned quickly that if you don’t know how to golf, you don’t get invited to golf. It’s that simple. And as she sat on the sidelines watching male clients and co-workers grab their clubs and ditch their desks early for afternoon rounds and charity golf tournaments, she knew she had to get in the game.

As the Director of Sales and Marketing for a PGA TOUR Champions golf tournament in Calgary, AB (Shaw Charity Classic), she was able to tap into her network to access coaching, equipment, and apparel. With a crew of colleagues to play with and teach her the etiquette and rules, it wasn’t long before she was hooked and convincing her gal pals to hit the range with her too.

As a former varsity athlete known for hosting events and building community while at the University of Alberta, launching Golf & Tacos alongside one of her likeminded friends came naturally. Together they got to work encouraging other young professional women in the city to get in the game and begin to use golf to unlock networking opportunities and career advancement.    

Now, after 7 seasons of hosting lessons and events in partnership with golf professionals across Alberta, British Columbia, and Saskatchewan, Cait is ready to get mic’d up and share inspiring conversations with the game changers driving women forward both on and off the course.
