YEAR NINE
Last season we were stoked to launch our new digital community, GOLF & TACOS Social Club, which provides likeminded golf gals across Canada with a place to meet other golfers at their level in their area. No more feeling intimidated or sitting out because you don’t have someone to golf with. Network, make a friend, find a fourth, or a driving range meet-up. You might just meet your next BFF, coworker, business partner, or in-law! Origin stories of all types have come out of Golf & Tacos events and programs and now we’re making those game-changing connections possible from your phone.
In Calgary, we have tightened up our physical presence within the city at Golf Future and Valley Ridge GC with a crew of golf professionals who will be running programs throughout the season. Operationally, each facility is an independent partner that will offer similar packages bookable on Showpass (facility links provided below). This shift means our partner facilities have the opportunity to integrate Golf & Tacos into their facility in ways that are more sustainable and seamless for all. The reduced number of locations is more manageable for our *very small* admin team.
Please ensure you read the event or program description prior to booking as packages vary by facility based on the facility’s unique amenities and rates.

PUMPKIN SPICE CLASSIC 2024
Back once again, the Pumpkin Spice Classic presented by Full Wedge Golf is heading to Water Valley Golf Club. Registration opens August 23 at 12:00PM MT. Details below. REGISTER HERE.
Golf & Tacos Calgary is excited to host the 3rd Annual Pumpkin Spice Classic presented by Full Wedge Golf!
The Pumpkin Spice Classic has quickly become THE undisputed favourite event of the Golf & Tacos social calendar…possibly because it has become the only social event on the calendar, but mostly because the vibes are crazy high and it is an iconic way to wrap up golf season.
Bigger. Brattier. The PSC is back.
PS. You can use code ‘GOLFANDTACOS’ for 20% off Full Wedge Golf polos.

FORMAT
Our only “competitive” event of the season, the 2024 Pumpkin Spice Classic presented by Full Wedge Golf will once again be an 18 hole two-person scramble. We have opened up more spots and are aiming for a shotgun start, however, if registration does not meet the threshold we will run rolling tee times. This change to format may impact the schedule, all changes will be emailed out prior to the event.
LOCATION
This year, we’re packing up the ol’ Bust Loose Party Bus and hitting the highway for a road trip to the luscious Water Valley Golf Club. Self described as “Alberta’s jewel, nestled amid the majestic foothills of the County of Mountain View, where the Canadian Rockies paint the horizon with grandeur, a semi-private oasis whispering secrets of challenge and serenity.” Sweet.
OPEN TO ALL GOLF GALS
From current lesson participants to our Golf & Tacos alumni, Golf & Tacos gals from other cities, and any literally any golf gals in the area looking for a killer day on the golf course.
SPICY LEVEL RECOMMENDATION (Learn More)
While we love all of our golfers, this event is best suited for our Medium/Hot/Spicy golfers who are comfortable playing 18 holes and can maintain pace of play on a full length golf course (red tees).
Golfers that fall behind pace may be asked by a coach, staff or volunteer to catch-up to the group ahead within a reasonable time frame. FYI We’re super reasonable. Rude or abusive language will not be tolerated and you’ll be sent straight to Golf & Tacos jail. More details on that can be found in our Code of Conduct.

A NOTE ON DRESS CODE AND THEME
We hope you’ll have a little fun with the events and dig out some ‘dress code approved’ fits (no denim, rips, crop tops, or spaghetti straps). Otherwise, have fun, bring the party vibes, and let’s close out the season with a 10/10 day on the course. Pumpkin Spice Classic themed team outfits encouraged and rewarded. Demure vs Brat. Have at ‘er.

Bio Coming soon.
Charla has played sports her whole life, but it wasn’t until she quit her elementary teacher job in Vancouver and moved to Calgary 8 years ago that she picked up golf. After getting a job in the Oil and Gas industry, she was gifted a set of garage sale clubs (you can’t be in sales and not golf!) and has never looked back! She loves golf for the networking, the time spent outside with friends and clients, the challenge golf offers, and never missing a hot dog on the turn!
Jaida picked up a golf club for the first time in 2012 and, like many recreational golfers, developed a love-hate relationship with the sport. It wasn’t until her first lessons with Golf & Tacos that she quickly became addicted to the game—and to the G&T community.
Born and raised in Calgary, she now works for the city she grew up in, helping to build relationships and connection through Communications.
You’ll often find her on the golf course with her G&T gal pals, dressed up in themed outfits, having a time. Jaida is happiest with a spicy margarita in one hand and a fish taco in the other (hold the cilantro).
